Thunder Storms

They have the most incredible Thunder Storms here. They are beautiful and amazing! You can see the thunder heads rolling in off of the sea and it blocks out your view of most of the land around us. They have a lot of thunder and they shake the house. It gets really warm before it rains and then cools off considerably when it stops. It clears out the air as well. It is always hazy here and I am missing the blue sky. The hazy is from Indonesia, where they are burning down their jungles to clear the land for building. It smells really smoky here in the mornings. I can't believe that the smoke travels all they way to where we are! Its strange to think that we in America are so concerned with clean air, but here its fast to burn the jungle then to clear it out with earth movers. I saw my first semi truck here today, kind of crazy, but I hadn't thought about them until I saw it and then, Wow that thing is huge! Cars here are extremely small. The family we are staying with has a Camry and it is considered big! Wonder what they would think of my Tahoe.
